My Childhood
When I was a little girl, I used to skip when I was walking back home. I always felt free and cheerful. I was a delightful girl and active. On the other hand, I was so shy that my face soon turned red when I spoke to someone.
I used to play with my dolls and toy cars. I liked a boy that I often carried a gun with me to fight with my sister. I would make my toys alive as a real pickle. I liked to make up stories for them too such us I would say "Today Fiona is going to meet a handsome Prince. She dreeses up as a Princess......"as I said that, I would help my toy to put on her pretty long dress. I think it is interesting and enjoyable. I used to dress up so pretty because my Mum wanted me to be a lovely child and she always bought beautiful clothes to me. I was pleasure to do it too. Everything is simple and full of joy.

On that day, I joined the 4x100 relay. I was the third relay player. The first and the second player fell behind but I didn't worry about that because I had the confidence that I could catch up.

The year in S.H.M.C.P.S
It is my sixth year at S.H.M.C.P.S. At is a place full of satisfaction. On 20th November, 2007 everybody of my school went to Tai Po sports ground to take part in the school sports day.

On sports day, because I was the helper of the day, I went to Tai Po sports ground the first. When everybody arrived, the opening ceremony was held. It included flag raising, sing school song and so forth. Right after that, the competition began. First, it was the running competition. Players ran very fast, everyone cheered gladly for players. The next event was the high jump, players jumped very high. I felt they were very great. For the long jump, players jumped very far. I thought they were excellent. After that was the softball. Players were very strong. I thought they would be tired because they paid a lot of effort. Then was the 4 x 100 Invitation Relay and the Parent and Children Relay. They were cooperative. I thought they cooperated well with each other at that time. When the competitions finished, there was the Artistic Gymnastics Performance. The dance was beautiful. I thought they must spend a lot of time to practise. Finally, there was the prize presentation ceremony. We presented a lot of prizes.
I have a lot of precious memories here. I feel all students are extremely good and accommodating.

It was my first year at SHMCPS. I remembered the day when I firstly stepped in SHMCPS.
My mother was sick so I had to transfer to Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Primary School. When I was in WF Joseph Lee Primary School, my academic result was bad, but when I study in this school, my academic improved a lot. I really want to thank Miss Cheng. Without Miss Cheng, my English test would not be 91 marks,so I have to say "Thank you MIss Cheng".
I felt very enjoyable in this school because in this school I felt warm. When I have some sadness,everyone will comfort me. In this unforgettable year,I felt very wonderful.

She gave them some money. So,they could use the money to buy the food. She also opened schools for poor people so that the people could learn more things. A person that I admire is Florence Nightingale because she was a kind hearted and great person.
Florence Nightingale was born in a small town in Italy named Florence in 1920. She was born in a wealthy family of England. Though she had a good family background, she always showed sympathy for the sufferings of poor people. She learned how to nurse people because once she heard the voice from God telling her that she had to help other people.
After some times, Florence went to the battlefield to nurse the injured soldiers because she knew that there were not enough nursing people. All soldiers felt grateful for Florence's kindness.
Later, she went back to England. She decided to establish a training school for the nurse.

What will I be when I grow up? I really don't know. If I become a fashion designer, I have to be very hard-working and spend lots of times on it. My favourite subject is English because I think English is interesting. However, I think writing is the most difficult part of English because it is easy to learn but difficult to be perfect. Also, I need to know a lot of words if I want to write a piece of good writing.

Suddenly, the fairy with a magic wand appeared again. She made Cinderella to be a beautiful girl again and said, "Go to find the prince." Then the fairy made an exit to her and disappeared.
After that, Cinderella went to the palace quickly. When she arrived at the party, the young man with a mask came and said, "I am the prince, can you marry me?" Cinderella said, "Yes!"

I go to School by schoolbus every morning, it takes about thirty minutes to get to school. I like my school very much because it is so big and beautiful. My favourite sublect is English because I think learning English is fun. I would like to be an English teacher when I grow up. Seasons in Nairob
Nairob is the capital city of Kenya .It is a special city because it is near the equator but is not so hot . Do you know why ? It is because it is located on high altitude. Thereore, it is not so hot as other equatorial cities. Besides, there is only one season, that is no spring , summer or winter. Autumn is the only season found there. It is sometimes cool and sometimes warm . The average temperature is very comfortable and it is about eighteen degrees Celsius. Travellers like to visit the rainforest and watch the wild animals.
I think Nairob is the best city in Kenya. I hope I could visit there one day.

I will also hold a party to celebrate this wonderful time. Let me see, I have to cook a yummy turkey with honey. Of crause, I ought to cook other deliclious food too.
At the beginning of the party, my family and I will have supper, then we will dance happily. We will play many interesting games. We can relax ourselves. That's great! I want my parents to be cheerful because they are tired most of the time. We will sing songs to others. At the end, I can eat my favourite chocolate cakes. At midnight, I will put my big, colourful sock at the corner of my bedroom. I wish Father Christmas will put many parents into my socks.T hen I can get them when I wake up. One day, Alex said, "Would you like to go to M78 Nebula?" Alan and Alec answered,"We heard that there are some great Ultramen and some monsters on it. Are you scared of them ? " "No!"
Then they found their grand dad, Scott. They asked, "Could you please make a spaceship for us to go M78 Nebula?" Scott answered, "Yes, but I want to see the great Ultramen too ! May I go with you?" "Sure!"
Soon, Scott made a super great spaceship, M78sb. Quickly, it took them only three hours to go to M78 Nebula. Alec said, "Well, it's so fast ! From our home to M78 Nebula it is about three thousand light years!"

Last Sunday morning when I was still sleeping, suddenly my mother said, 'Mabel! Get up! Your friend, Joe has addressed you a parcel.' Then I got up and opened the parcel in a hurry. 'Oh! It is a special pen. It is a magic wand inside a box.' Then I opened the box and I saw a set of instruction. I read the instruction very quickly, and then I tried to play the magic. I waved the magic wand and said 'Turn the cherry to a strawberry.' Amazing! It turned to a strawberry, it was incredible. I felt overjoyed and excited. It was because I could change anything I want with this magic wand. My mother said, 'Don't use this, this is just for a game, you can't do anything with it.' But I didn't listen to her. After a few days, when I had my exam, I felt very scary because I haven't taken any revision and I just used the magic wand to do the homework. I felt regret and cried for hours. Suddenly, I felt someone was shaking my hands and woke me up. Then, I found that it was just a dream only!

Camping

Last Sunday, my father and my mother and I went to the Snoopy Island. We went there by bus. Then we took the MTR. We arrived the Snoopy Island at a quarter to five. We felt very happy. Then we pitched tents in a hurry, so we felt very tired.

Next morning, we swam at the beach. Then we had lunch. There were so much food for our lunch, such as, vegetables, fish, meats, corns and rice. Next, we played games, such as, football, basketball, table-tennis and tennis. After that, we rested.

In the evening, we cycled at the beach. At the beach, we picked up some shells, took some photos, played badminton and took a rest. After we took a rest, we took a barbeque. We had some food for our dinner, such as, ham, meat, fish, sausages, soup and lamb.

At night, my father and I set up a campfire, listened to ghost stories, sang some songs and danced. We went home at eleven o?clock. Next morning, I was very happy and excited. I want to go to Snoopy Island once again.

Summer is from June to August. The average
temperature is about 28.6ﾟc. It is sunny and rainy, but there are many typhoons in summer. People will wear cotton and light clothing because the weather is very hot. People love to go to swim if it is sunny.

A Trip to Peng Chau

Peng Chau is a very special island. There are no cars or roads. The islanders use bicycle for transport only. You can smell the fresh air because there is no air pollution. We cannot see any skyscrapers but only some old and low buildings. There are also some temples on Finger Hill.
Last Sunday, my father and I went to Peng Chau by ferry. It took about forty-five minutes. We arrived there at ten o'clock. First, we visited some special temples, like Lung Mo Temple, Kam Fa Temple and Tin Hau Temple. Then we walked to the top of Finger Hill, we were so tired. On the peak, we could enjoy watching the whole sea-view and we could find the Hong Kong Disneyland. We took a lot of photos and tried the delicious seafood.
Later on, we went home happily. I hope I can visit Peng Chau again.

Last Mid-Autumn Festival, I went to an exhibition which was about endangered species, such as reptiles and amphibians. It was held in East Point City (in Hang Hau). "The Big Four" in the exhibition were Goliath Frog, Veiled Chameleon, Giant Gecko and Aldabra Tortoise. They were the biggest animals of their kind.
Just above the entrance, there was a big showcase with some lizards that looked quite horrible. When we walked near the showcase, the staff would explain to us the information of those animals. I thought this arrangement was good for the visitors because it could let them know more about the animals.
Among all animals, I liked Veiled Chameleon most because I could see it changing the colour of their skin. When it was changing the colour, its eyes always rotated. It was really scary! I also fed the Aldabra Tortoise and I tried to touch it. I was excited when I felt its hard shell.
I felt cheerful today because I learnt a lot in this trip.

15th November 2006 was my school picnic day. Our destination was Butterfly Beach Park at Tuen Mun. We arrived there by school bus. It took about an hour to get there.
I brought a lot of foods such as cakes, chocolates, candies and sausages. All these were my favorite food.
My class was divided into six groups. I was the leader of my group, our group members were Danny, Peter, Anson, Kevin, Vincent and Macro. I played badminton with Miss Poon, my group members and some other classmates. Miss Poon played badminton very well but she let us win. We felt so tired that we took a rest and shared our foods. They were tasty. Suddenly, it started to rain. And it got heavier and heavier. We all hid under a pavilion until the rain stopped.
Then we walked around the park. It was really big. There was a big maze with a 'green wall'. It was about one metre tall. So we decided to play Hide And Seek. there. At last, we took a walk around the park which was near the beach. The sea view was so beautiful that I took a lot of photos.
It was a happy day. I hope my parents could bring me there again.

Biography of Charles Robert Darvin
If you have never read this book before, you must try to read it. I am sure you will have a better understanding of this famous person!
Charles Robert Darwin (12 February 1809 to 19 April 1882) was born in Shrewsbury, England. Darwin was a British naturalist. He loved nature very much, regardless of stones, insects, etc, he would pick it up and took it home to treasure up.
When he was eight years old, he was very naughty. He felt school life dry and dull, so that he always played jokes on his classmate.
On 1831, his thought was gradually mature. He had a good chance to go with H.M.S. Beagle to do an inspection on nature around the world for five years. He found a lot of samples and information.
After this inspection trip, he used the information to write a book ― The Origin Of Species. He also wrote The Fertilization of Orchids, The Variation of Plants and Animals under Domestication, The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex, The Expression of Emotions in Man and Animals, etc.

like to go to swimming pools.

In winter,it is very cold. The average temperature is around 0 degree. It is from November to February. People must wear thick clothes, mittens and scarves.
When it snows,people like to play snowballs. But sometimes the snow is very dirty, children are very sad about it.

Last summer,I and my family went to Beijing. It was the first time I have visited the city. We had a great time in Beijing. I hope I will visit Beijing again.

My mother's birthday was coming soon.My sister had a present for my mother already.I thought for a long time,"What present I should give to my mum on her birthday?"I wanted to give her a surprise.

I know many people will give a birthday card to another.I wanted to buy a birthday card, but I did not have enough money .So I asked my father,"Do you know what present mother likes?"
"I think mother will like the present from your heart." answered my father.

"What should I give to mum? Ya!...I had an idea! I will make a card to her, I think she will like it. "

First,I prepared some beautiful paper.Then,I fold the paper. Next, I drew my mother's portrait on the first page. Finally,I wrote some thankful words on the second page.

On that day,I gave it to my mum. She said, "Oh!Thank you,Sena.Is it made by yourself?" "Sure!"I yelled.

Luckily,Miss Annie Sullivan met Helen Keller in 1887.Annie helped Helen talk,read,write and feel things.Annie made Helen happy and helped her to have a good life.
In 1893,Helen wrote a brief antobiography for a magazine.In 1904,she finished her course in Rodcliffe College.In 1909,she began to speak more strongly in favour of workers' rights.In 1968,she died.
Helen Keller had a strong mind to study and solve her problems. She set a good example for us to follow.

Boys and men play football everywhere.(and sometimes women,too)
Everybody has seen boys playing football.Sometimes they play it at school,on the beach,in a park or in a quiet street.More people play football than any other games.
How did football begin? No one knows.Where did it start?It began in England hundreds of years ago but it was very different then.One village played against another village.There were not many rules! All the men of one village tried to kick a ball to the middle of the other village.The men of the other village tried to do the same.Today teams of eleven men play in a football match but hundreds of years ago they did not have teams.All the men of the villages and the older boys played! Sometimes hundreds of people played at one time.The match went on all day, and sometimes for more than one day.When any of the players felt tired, they stopped for a rest, or for a meal.Then they began again! Often people were hurt.It was more like a fight than a game!
Today football is very different.There are two teams of eleven players. The game lasts for about an hour and a half with a rest in the middle.The teams play matches on grass fields with white lines around the sides. There are many rules and there is a referee to make the players obey the rules.

Two days before Chinese New Year, I went shopping with my mother. We bought many things. For example, clothes, food and red packets. I helped my mother to clean the kitchen. It's really a busy day.
On Chinese New Year's Eve, I had dinner with my family in a restaurant. We ate a lot of food, sushi, crabs, fish, pork and vegetables. I also had a dessert. It was really delicious!
On Chinese New Year's Day, I got up early in the morning and put on the new clothes. Then, I said some lucky words to my parent. They gave me 2 red packets! I was very happy.
On the second day of Chinese New Year, I went to the restaurant with my relatives to have dim-sum in the morning. Then, in the afternoon, I went to my cousin's home. We played computer games together. It's really fun!

I think my school really gives out merits so freely. I think schools shouldn't give too many merits to the students because those are the student's own work, it is our duty to finish it. We should not do our work because of the merits. Otherwise, when we grow up and go out to work, we can't get the merits so easily and we may be disappointed. As a result, we will be lazy and don't do any work. Merits are not important but to be responsible and helpful is more important .
But for some special students, it can be useful to give them merits because the merits can encourage them to do the work. I know it is unfair for the other students, but I hope they can understand that merits are not the most important thing in our lives.

On 5th November, at about a quarter past five, my mother and I went down to travel by bus to play table tennis. Suddenly, a man talked about me, he said,'You see! That girl is afraid of that dog without wearing a dog-mask!'I didn't say anything! I was a little bit angry with that man because I didn't say I was afraid of that dog without mask. Mother knew that I was angry but she said,' Don't say anything! They are arguing!' 'Who?' I asked. 'That man who talked about you is complaining the host of that dog.' 'Why?' I asked. Mother said,' I think it is because that man parks his car there but it is wrong to stay cars there. So the security personnel went to remind him. He felt unhappy about that. Then he saw a dog without a mask so he complained that security personnel why he didn't warn the host of the dog. Now the two men are arguing.' I understood what was mother talking about, so I continuesd to watch what would happen after that. 'Shut your mouth up' said one of the hosts. 'This is a private place! You should put a mask on your dog's mouth!' said that man. 'No! This is a public road, we love letting our dog without a mask, you can't be rude!' said the other man. 'Mother, they are very rude, why don't they sit down and discuss together?' I ased. 'Not everyone is very kind, they are impolite, don't learn from them.' answered mother.
I hate rude people, I hate them arguing in public places. I hope after this day, they will feel shame about what they did today. They will say sorry to each other and make friends together!

The poor men didn't believe it.

Amy saw this event and shouted,"I am a princess!" The teacher stopped teaching. "What's the matter with you?" she asked Amy. Then all the classmates laughed.

After this, all the classmates called her "princess".

On eleventh of February, I went for a school activity about watching Chinese White Dolphin. First, we went on a ship. Then the guide told us something about Chinese White Dolphin. We watched dolphins at half past nine. I could see some dolphins. I thought they were lovely. Until half past ten, we needed to learn more information about dolphins. For examples, what food they eat, where they live and what colours the young and adult are etc. Though we got the last chance to watch the dolphins, unfortunately we couldn't see any dolphins. So we went back to school.
After all,I felt happy because i could see the dolphins and I could learn some information about Chinese White Dolphin.
