The Storytelling Competition 2008 was held on 28 June 2008 and received keen support from principals and teachers. The competition aimed to promote creative writing in schools and encourage students to speak English and demonstrate their creativity in story writing. Over twenty P5 students were selected to participate in this on-stage presentation after the online writing competition. We felt honourable to invite Principal Ting from Meng Tak Catholic Primary School, Dr Rodney Jones, Associate Professor of Department of Communication and English from City University of Hong Kong, Mr Archie McGlynn Director of Hong Kong School Self Evaluation Network from Quality Assurance Division of EDB, and Prof Horace Ip from City University of Hong Kong to serve as judges.
