Thanks to the overwhelming support from principals and teachers, the WELNET Sharing Session 2008 held on 12 July 2008 at Shak Chung Shan Memorial Catholic Primary School has been a remarkable success. The sharing session aimed to promote and allow teachers to adopt a Collaborative Blended Learning approach for language learning to enable Hong Kong school stakeholders to deploy and truly integrate IT and web-based tools in curriculum design, teaching and learning, particularly in Language Education. Received keen support from the distinguished education specialists of City University of Hong Kong, we invited Dr Louisa Wei, Assistant Professor of Department of English and Communication, to be our guest speakers. Dr Wei shared with us his experience on how to integrate advanced education tools with traditional face-to-face classroom teaching. The sharing session ended with demonstration and presentation of the accomplished teaching implementation conducted by the WELNET teachers. Here are the snapshots of the day: |
